What Our Father gives us is infinitely better to all that we can get for ourselves. If we learn to pray with humility out to the Lord for work in our lives according to His purpose, and not to our desires, Our Father oversees taking us for the best way for our lives.
We must be attentive and pray with humility, sincere repentance and obedience. God is the one who opens and closes doors to bless us according to his plan. He will always provide us according to our ability, wisdom and above all our fidelity to Him. His blessings go beyond economic prosperity which can be a consequence according to His will and because of obedience.
Do not pray that a business will do you good and make you rich. That prayer may not be heard. Pray that the way will be shown to you according to Lord's purpose for you, so that He may glorify himself through your work and have the blessing and privilege of being an instrument that will lead others to the Christ.
Ephesians 3 16 That he would grant you,according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by hisSpirit in the inner man;
19 And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, thatye might be filled with all the fulness of God.
